Forrest K. Clinard has twenty-five years of litigation experience as a practicing attorney in Georgia and Florida. He represents individuals and small to mid-size businesses involved in a wide variety of business disputes, both before suit has been filed and after. Part of his practice is also reviewing situations and documents and advising clients how to avoid future litgation in those cases.
In addition to his litigation practice Mr. Clinard has also had success with the appeal of cases at the state appeals court, one of which the ruling was reviewed and upheld by the Florida Supreme Court and is still cited in cases today, Giltex Corp. v. Diehl, 544 So.2d 302 (Fla. 1st DCA 1989) upheld in Katz v. Van Der Noord, 546 So. 2d 1047 (Fla. 1989). He is admitted to all the state courts of Georgia and Florida, as well as the federal district courts in the northern districts of Georgia and Florida and the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the North Fulton Bar Association and the Cobb County Bar Association.
In addition to clients in Georgia, he has represented clients from all over the country, including Florida, South Carolina, Texas, New Jersey, Massachusetts, California, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Mr. Clinard has demonstrated his leadership abilities by serving as a past president and secretary of the North Fulton Bar Association and is currently serving as co-chair of the Multi-Bar Leadership Council.
He graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 1986 and is admitted to the state bars of Georgia and Florida. Mr. Clinard has practiced in Atlanta since 1993.
